The rest just hang in our closets.<\/li>\n<li>We spend a year of our lives looking for lost or misplaced stuff, according to the National Association of Professional Organizers.<\/li>\n<li>80 percent of the clutter in our homes is a result of disorganization, not a lack of space.<\/li>\n<li>Getting rid of clutter would eliminate 40 percent of the housework in the average home, according to the National Soap and Detergent Association.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/home-organization-stress-survey_n_3308575\">84 percent<\/a> of Americans stress that their home isn\u2019t organized enough.<\/li>\n<li>80 percent of our medical expenses are related to stress.
